Privacy policy
VillaDelBalbianello.org collects as little data as possible. You don’t need an account, and I don’t ask for personal details to let you browse the site.
What I collect
Standard, anonymised analytics - which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from - so I know which guides are useful. I don’t sell data and I don’t build profiles on you.
Booking and third parties
When you book, you do so on GetYourGuide, whose own privacy policy governs the details you enter there. The GetYourGuide widgets on pages like the tickets comparison and the reviews may set cookies to attribute a booking to this site - that attribution is how the site is funded, as the affiliate disclosure explains.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site. Questions about your data? Contact me.
Frequently asked questions
Do you store any personal information about me?
Only what you choose to send - if you email me, I have your email. Browsing the site requires no account and no personal details; analytics are anonymised and aggregated.
What cookies does the site set?
The GetYourGuide booking widgets may set cookies so a booking can be attributed to this site - the commission model described in the affiliate disclosure. Block cookies in your browser and the guides on the tickets page still work.
Who do I contact about my data?
Me, at the address on the contact page. For data you entered on GetYourGuide while booking, contact GetYourGuide - their policy governs it.
